Meet Our Staff

Danielle Crumrine, Executive Director

Over the past seven years, Danielle has worked in various capacities in the Pittsburgh environmental community. Since its inception in 2000, she has been deeply involved in PA CleanWays of Allegheny County, Inc. where she was the founding Board President, former Executive Director, and most recently Board Secretary. In addition, she is a leader in the Urban Ecology Collaborative where she helped to lead such projects as MERGE: Methods to Engage Residents and Grassroots in the Environment and the Green Forum.

 Matthew Erb, Director of Urban Forestry

Prior to joining Friends, Matt was an urban forester with Davey Resource Group, conducting tree inventories and urban forestry management plans. He has a BS in forestry from Penn State University and is an ISA Certified Arborist.

Danielle and Matt are both deeply rooted in Southwest Pennsylvania and committed   to preserving its natural resources and improving the quality of life for their fellow Pittsburghers.
