In Partnership with TreeVitalize Pittsburgh, Friends has helped to plant thousands of trees across the city.  We work with government and community partners to deomonstrate best planting practices and cutting edge strategies for increasing a tree’s survival in the harsh urban environment.

By the end of 2010, nearly 1000 city residents will have graduated from the Tree Tender Program, planting new trees and hosting tree care days in their neighborhood.  Your support helps to build stronger, greener communities.
